Support the CCRC
The Charleston City Rowing Club is always looking to make connections in our community! In addition to our members and volunteers, individual contributors and corporate sponsors are an essential partner in keeping the club thriving.
For nearly twenty years — ten years as a 501(c)3 organization — CCRC has provided nonprofit rowing programs for youth and adults in the Charleston area.
Today, demand for our high school program has doubled, and as the only local organization offering both youth and adult rowing, we are at a critical inflection point. Without new equipment, we will be forced to cap participation.
Please consider supporting the club with a tax deductible donation. Funds will be used to repair and replace boats, ergometers, and safety launches — the essential infrastructure that determines how many young people we can safely serve. We’re grateful for any level of support.
There are many benefits of rowing for our youth. Social isolation fueled by technology has taken a toll on many children’s mental and physical well-being. CCRC offers an alternative to traditional high school and club sports, providing both physical activity and social connection. Rowing builds discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership — qualities that strengthen both individuals and communities.
Your support will have an immediate and visible impact on the lives, health and well-being of teen and adult rowers and our community.
